Hello! Breaking down by the side of the road can be a scary experience at the best of times. But when you are a single mum travelling alone with just two small kids for company, it can be absolutely terrifying. I was on my way to Alice Springs to visit my uncle when the car began to cough and splutter along. I crossed my fingers I hoped we would make it but eventually, the car stopped at the side of the road and we could go no further.
