Youth Sports

Elmendorf AFB Youth Sports provides recreational leagues for children ages 5-18. We stress safety, fun, building of basic skills, and sportsmanship of each participant. All volunteer coaches receive a national certification through the National Youth Sports Coaches Association.

In compliance with Air Force directive, all players participating in any Elmendorf AFB Youth Sports Program will be required to have a physical exam. A physical exam completed within one year of the start of each season will be accepted.  

Coaching/Volunteer Opportunities:  The Youth Sports Program is always looking for volunteers who have played any of the sports offered or who have an appreciation for the game and would like to be involved with youth. Qualifications: "Interest in our youth and love of the game." All coaches will attend training and receive certification through the National Youth Sports Coaches Association. Background checks are conducted on all volunteers. Practice begins with the start of the season.
